Albert completes comeback to win ENet Golf Tournament

Rohan Albert claimed victory in the ENet Golf Tournament at Lusignan Golf Club on Sunday, carding a Gross 90, Handicap 19 and Net 71 in a remarkable comeback after three months away from competitive golf.

Richard Hanif finished second with a Gross 84, Handicap 12 and Net 72, while Mike Mangal took third place with a Gross 84, Handicap 11 and Net 73.

Forty-nine golfers competed in the tournament, played under brilliant sunshine at Lusignan. The front nine played relatively easy, allowing players to settle into rhythm, while the back nine proved far more demanding, testing stamina and precision, setting up a thrilling contest that kept spectators engaged throughout the day.

Avinash Persaud took the Best Gross award with a round of 78. Feroze Barkat claimed Nearest to Pin, while Hanif also took the Longest Drive award.

ENet Trademarketer Safraz Mohamed said the company was proud to support the tournament.
